Our Story

Chretin's restaurant has a long history in Yuma.
Chretin’s got its start in the early 1930s as an open-air dance floor established by Jose Maria and Engracia Chretin. Jose started constructing the building in 1925, expanding it bit by bit over time with handmade adobe. Engracia began selling tacos and sodas at the events. Chretin’s became a center for community and social events.
